Hi Jip, Thank you for your smart opinion. I think, it's not always necessary to paint ugly staff to name it ART. Beautiful things around us are ART also and deserved to be painted. I saw Oksana's painting "Manhattan Beauty" and it just spoke to me and I had to have one for myself. I love NYC and no matter where I have lived over the years, I always find myself being drawn over and over again to NYC, it is always there in the back of my mind like in the background of this sleeping beauty. This painting is hanging in my home and it is a favorite of mine. I have since been following Oksana and her work and love to see when she creates a new painting and to encounter the emotion and complexity of feelings she portrays in her paintings. I have found her wall murals to simply glamorous!

Dear Oksana, Having an opportunity to learn and actually meet such an incredible artist like you was a great pleasure for me. Being able to look at your artwork inspired me and increased my own self-esteem with a thought of “Someday, I would be as great as she is!” Your paintings are extremely amazing. Two of my favorites are Morning in New York and Manhattan Beauty because I adore the way you portrait peoples’ life of high status. Every night as I’m going to sleep I am able to imagine finished artworks of my own, however all of it still needs to get its way on paper. Dear Natalia, Great to hear from you back. You never know where is the edge of beauty, level of perfection. Art perfection doesn't have standards, frames, or directions. The history knows a lot of examples when the paintings of some artist where considered as garbage but later where confessed as the highly valuable pieces (for example the art of Van Gogh).
I don't considered myself as a good artist in everything, furthermore, I don't think my portraits are good, same as landscapes. But this vision of myself and my art work for me well - I have so much space to grow up, it drives me up. At this case I have a compassion to the artists who think they are good. you are right but your techniques in landscaping are low. you can be better in one thing more than other but not in everything . and for landscaping you need more practice. I love to paint myself , been taking a lot of classes in USA , Rome and also i am a landscaping ARCH ... and i see what u don't see. i am not trying to argue with you but trying to tell you on what you should work more .. Your work is really good and your family should be proud of you.. thanks Natalia ..

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your opinion. I am sorry you didn't see any stories in my landscapes. I have included them as well as my feelings, my sadness, lonely, sometimes love. However everybody sees or doesn't see it in different way, his own. I see our world as a perfect material to transfer the deepest feelings of my soul on canvas.
Also, artist's skills can be measured by using of certain painting techniques, not stories behind the art. Stories behind paintings show how artist can work with idea or subject. Thank you. Best, Oksana Tanasiv

Your portrait painting is amazing , i can read the story behind it , but your landscaping painting skills are very low - im sorry to say that but it doesn't tell people any story behind . its just a copy of what u see..
