Magnifying Glass

Oil on Canvas, 40”x30”. 2018

Artist poured her soul into this canvas, blending acrylics and oils with snippets of reality, capturing the surreal dance of symbols that unveil our deeply ingrained perceptions. Through a held magnifying glass, the figure within turns to currency – a stark symbol of how value can eclipse personal identity. From the opposite side, the magnifying glass holder is a hunter, ruled by mercantile, souless intention. As this scene graces your walls, may it stir a dialogue on worth and gaze, charging the space with profound introspection and boundless perspective.

Unequal pay harms U.S. women.
How many working women think they’re paid fairly for the work they do? Right now, with the economy still struggling to provide jobs for all those who want them, many women are probably happy just to be employed.
But women are still paid only 77 cents for every $1 men receive. This unequal pay continues to harm American women and the families who depend on their wages. (According to a recent report, women are the primary breadwinners in 40 percent of American households.)

I Take It All…

Oil, Dollar bills on Canvas. 36″X36″. 2011.

It really doesn’t matter who you are on the Earth: president or arabic sheikh, millionaire or prince of Wales. It really doesn’t matter how much money you will make in your life. After your death you won’t be able to take any penny with you.

Umbrella

Oil on Canvas. 24″x36″. 2015

In creating this piece, I blended acrylics, oil, collage, and resin to forge an evocative tableau where finery meets surreal contemplation. The umbrella, blossoming with currency, symbolizes the pervasive shield of wealth in modern society. A man, face partially obscured, clutches this emblem of economic safeguard, a subtle nod to the anonymity in the pursuit of affluence. This artwork is a powerful conversation starter, adding a layer of philosophical introspection to any space it inhabits.

Poppet

In this creation artist conjure a surreal and symbolic world, capturing the essence of societal puppetry with a stroke of figurative finesse. It speaks by the invisible strings of someone on the top, its money, of economics and power that control and distort humanity’s dance. This piece is designed to stir the observer, evoking reflection on freedom and manipulation. It will imbue any space with a potent mix of contemplation and fine art allure.
