Bio
Oksana Tanasiv (OKSI) is American, Ukrainian-born, internationally recognized contemporary artist. She experiments in realistic, surrealistic, and pop-art creating the art as collections by subject, style, and technique.
Author of more than 200 art works, installations, illustrations;
Exhibitor of national and international art fairs, galleries’ exhibitions, events: Aqua Art Miami 2019, Market Art+Design Hampton 2018, ArtExpo NYC 2012, 2013, 2014, Art Santa Fe 2010, multiple solo and group exhibitions in Connecticut , and NYC area.
Creator of Conceptual collection Dollar Art featuring social, political, and economical issues.
Experimenter with multiple techniques (crystals mosaic, oil stitching, collage ) and many media: oil, acrylic, watercolor, gold and silver leaf, epoxy, Swarovski® crystals, fabric, sequences, beads, paper collage.
Featured Artist and known as a Fashion Artist of New York City Fashion Week every season since 2012, presenting art to the visitors at the iconic places of NYC, Times Square Manhattan (Crown Plaza), Waldorf Astoria, New Yorker Hotel.

Collections
2005-2012 – created Faberge Art, Architectural, and Fashion Art, developing an individual technique of Swarovski® crystals on canvas. Soon it’s discovered a few other techniques as oil stitching, as well as techniques of beads, sequins, and fabric.
In 2013 OKSI started work on the installations series Couture Art, featuring fashion; some of her pieces contain more than 10,000 Swarovski® crystals, beads, and fabric individually sewn or clued to canvas.
2011-2013 Artist works on series called Dollar Art and continues this collection in 2015-16. She delivers thoughts about the social, political, and economical structure of world, showing the relation between people and money. Artist uses oil and personal dollar bills collage technique on canvas.
2014 Created collection “Reincarnation”, pop-art series dedicated to personalities of music, art, political world.
2016 Artist started series of art and installations “Code”U”, unique ethnic, neo-folk compositions connecting history and culture in lengths of a few millenniums.
