Money Boat

In this evocative piece, I’ve entwined the grace of realism with the whimsy of surrealism, depicting a couple in a dance on a billowing currency boat. Rich in symbolism, it’s a commentary on the turbulent dance of economy and relationships, embodying the delicate balance of trust and materialism. The warm hues of sunset and cool ocean contrasts evoke passion and serenity, infusing any space with the dynamic energy of life’s intricate dance.

In this vibrant fusion of symbolism and surrealism, I’ve captured the essence of life’s perpetual climb. Dappled in symbolic strokes, figures ascend and descend on steps of currency, with an air of semi-abstraction. This piece is a commentary on the ceaseless pursuit of success and wealth, urging viewers to reflect on their own journeys, their owns ups and downs. Unequal pay harms U.S. women.
How many working women think they’re paid fairly for the work they do? Right now, with the economy still struggling to provide jobs for all those who want them, many women are probably happy just to be employed.
But women are still paid only 77 cents for every $1 men receive. This unequal pay continues to harm American women and the families who depend on their wages. (According to a recent report, women are the primary breadwinners in 40 percent of American households.)
