In this piece, I explore the insatiable hunger for wealth and its illusory satisfaction. The surreal image of a figure devouring money as if it were food speaks volumes of society’s consumerism, where monetary gain can overshadow vital nourishment. My mixed media approach blends realism with a touch of the abstract, contrasting stark symbolism with vibrant colors that energize the space it inhabits. (Oksana Tanasiv)
